what's in a name?
The name, "NarnesandBoble.com" is humorous and fun and provides an outlet for our sense of humor.
We are in no way trying to mock, poke fun at, or otherwise defame Barnes & Noble. In fact, we shop there all the time! And we suggest you shop there too! I mean, they rock! You can like, check out the book and read it and stuff while you drink coffee! That's cool!
Furthermore, we're not even in competition with Barnes & Noble. They only sell brand new books (third party sales don't count). We only sell used books--most of which are vintage paperbacks from the 60s and 70s. So obviously, if someone were looking for a new book, they would not come to us, but instead to Barnes & Noble or someone else. Similarly, if someone were looking for a used book, they would not go to Barnes and Noble, but instead to us or someone else. Given, both Barnes & Noble and us will never be this "someone else" we are referring to, we are not in direct competition.
